We are seeking a Junior IT Support Engineer to support long-term CCTV and security systems projects. This role is well-suited for fresh graduates or junior candidates who are keen to build a stable, long-term career in IT support and security systems while gaining hands-on technical experience.
The successful candidate will be involved in the ongoing operation, maintenance, and support of CCTV systems rather than short-term or ad-hoc assignments. Training and guidance will be provided to support professional growth over time. On-Job-Training will be provided.

⇒ Main Responsibilities
CCTV & Security Systems Support (Long-Term Operations)
- Provide daily operational support for CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and related equipment.
- Assist with installation, basic configuration, and commissioning for long-term deployments.
- Perform routine system health checks and basic troubleshooting (connectivity, image quality, power issues).
- Support scheduled maintenance activities and system upgrades under supervision.
IT & Network Support
- Assist with basic IP networking tasks for CCTV systems (LAN connectivity, IP addressing, PoE support).
- Support basic switch and network troubleshooting related to CCTV operations.
- Assist in firmware updates and system patches as part of long-term system upkeep.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain clear support logs, asset records, and simple technical documentation.
- Record incidents, service requests, and resolution steps accurately.
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior engineers or vendors with proper documentation.
On-site & Team Support
- Provide on-site support for long-term projects and customer environments.
- Work closely with senior engineers and project teams to ensure system stability.
- Follow established SOPs, safety, and security guidelines.
⇒ Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma OR Higher Nitec Certification in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of IT support or technical assistance experience (fresh graduates welcome).
Skills & Knowledge (Entry-Level)
- Basic understanding of CCTV or security surveillance concepts.
- Fundamental knowledge of networking (LAN, IP addressing).
- Familiarity with Windows OS and basic IT troubleshooting.
- Willingness to perform hands-on and on-site support work.
