We currently have an opening for a Junior IT Business / Capacity Analyst role for our client in Singapore which is a leading global investment bank. You will be creating Powerpoint presentation slides to communicate IT infrastructure capacity planning, utilization metrics, future capacity forecasts, and resource management to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Capacity Planning
- Support in the planning and managing of data centre and network room capacity covering space, power, and cooling.
- Assist in analysing infrastructure utilisation and capacity trends.
- Help prepare short, medium, and long-term capacity forecasts.
- Support planning for new infrastructure deployments and expansion projects.
Inventory & Documentation
- Create Powerpoint presentation slides, reports, and dashboards on IT infrastructure capacity planning, utilization metrics, future capacity forecasts, and resource management to stakeholders.
- Maintain capacity information within DCIM and asset management systems.
- Assist in validating inventory accuracy and infrastructure records.
IT Infrastructure Assessment
- Learn how to assess electrical and cooling infrastructure
- Support the identification of capacity constraints and operational risks.
Data Centre Design & Deployment
- Assist with rack planning and data centre layout activities.
- Learn industry best practices for data centre infrastructure planning.
Collaboration
- Work closely with experienced engineers, operations, facilities and network teams.
- Participate in project meetings and technical discussions.
- Support vendor coordination and infrastructure implementation activities.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business or other related field
- Candidates should have strong hands-on Microsoft PowerPoint skills, able to independently create presentation decks and slides without reliance on AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Interest to grow a career in the IT / Data Centre Infrastructure field
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks.
Nice-to-have:
- Past experience / background in IT infrastructure or Data Centre
- Experience supporting large scale or regulated enterprise environments (e.g. financial institutions).
