studioMilou Singapore is an architectural firm that specialises in private residential and cultural projects. Along with architectural design, our design expertise also includes interior design and landscape design. This position is an entry-level one to support interior design projects - including exhibitions - and visual document production.

Job Summary

The junior interior draftsperson will assist the architects with providing digital technical design for the projects undertaken by the office. Their main responsibilities will include technical drawings, using both CAD and 2D softwares (eg. Acad, Sketchup, Photoshop, etc), along with compiling inventories of materials and documentation organisation.

Responsibilities

• Produce precise drawings to support interior design project development in compliance with local regulations, using CAD software
• Progressively develop detailed architectural drawings and specifications to ensure design accuracy and constructability.
• Create 2 and 3D visualizations using software such as SketchUp to communicate design intent and support client presentations
• Collaborate with architects to translate design concepts into detailed digital representations for private residential projects
• Apply technical knowledge to enhance the quality and clarity of architectural documentation for new builds and alterations.
• Systematize and organize electronic documentation of drawings, and other visual materials.
