Junior Full Stack Developer

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and maintenance of applications using Java (including Java 8), Spring Framework, JSP, and jQuery.
• Support debugging and enhancement of legacy systems built with Struts or JSF.
• Assist with deployment activities and basic troubleshooting on Oracle WebLogic Server.
• Write and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts for Oracle and Sybase databases.
• Support API development and integration with frontend and backend components.
• Assist in implementing React-based frontend components under supervision.
• Support file-based integrations, SFTP transfers, and scheduled batch processing jobs.
• Implement Web Storage features such as LocalStorage and Cookies as required.
• Participate in source code reviews and follow secure coding and compliance guidelines.
• Perform basic Linux/Unix administration tasks for application deployment and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 1-2 years of experience (or relevant internship experience) in Java development.
• Basic understanding of Spring Framework, JSP/Servlets, and relational databases.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React), and containerisation concepts is an advantage.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and willingness to learn modern authentication frameworks (OIDC).
