Junior Engineer
About the Role
Zero-Error Systems (ZES) is seeking a Junior Engineer to support engineering team on electronic/semiconductor hardware/software installation, product prototyping, troubleshooting, testing and product logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain electronic hardware, test platforms, equipment, and software for product development and testing.
- Perform functional, performance, and reliability testing to verify the functionality and performance of ZES products.
- Assist with troubleshooting and failure analysis during product development and verification.
- Work closely with the engineering team on hardware testing, verification, and product qualification activities.
- Maintain test data, engineering records, technical documentation, and laboratory equipment.
- Support the logistics, inventory, maintenance, and delivery of engineering equipment, components, and products.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 - 3 years of relevant hands-on engineering experience in PCB CAD layout, soldering skills and layout knowledge on Altium or KidCad.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply as training would be provided.
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators/analyzers.
- Basic knowledge of electronic hardware, software, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware and software platforms.
- Interested in microchip-based hardware and hands-on engineering work.
- Good team player with effective communication skills and a results-oriented mindset.
