Junior EHS Coordinator (APAC) / S$4.5k / Contract

Summary

The Safety and Security team is looking for a Junior Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to support our operations across the Asia Pacific region. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and operational support for the company's EHS programs. You will assist in ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining safety documentation, and supporting regional leads in risk mitigation initiatives to protect our associates and property.

Role & Responsibilities

. Compliance Support: Assist in monitoring federal and local regulations across APAC locations to help ensure the occupational health of our associates.

. Program Maintenance: Support the implementation of EHS policies and procedures participate in structured audits to identify areas for improvement.

. Risk Coordination: Help evaluate and reduce workplace risks by applying health and safety principles under the guidance of senior leadership.

. Tracking & Reporting: Coordinate the follow-up of safety reviews track corrective actions to ensure they are closed out on schedule.

. Communication: Assist in preparing periodic updates and operational metrics for management regarding program effectiveness.

. Documentation: Maintain accurate records and safety data ensure all company-sensitive information is handled with high confidentiality.

. Regional Liaison: Provide Mandarin language support (verbal and written) to communicate safety protocols and address queries from non-English speaking colleagues and partners in APAC and China.

Requirements

. Education: Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

. Experience: Approximately 2 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably within a corporate or multicultural environment.

. Language Skills: Business proficiency in Mandarin (written and spoken, Min. B3 in O Levels Chinese or equivalent certifications) is required to effectively liaise with stakeholders in China and the broader APAC region.

. Skills: Organizational skills and attention to detail.

o Ability to handle sensitive data with discretion.

o Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn regional safety regulations.

o Willingness to travel within the region as required.
