We're seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer who can manage day-to-day technical and facility-related tasks while having the opportunity to learn and grow into Cloud or DevOps roles. IT Support (Core Foundation)
- Provide technical support for staff hardware, software, and networking issues (onsite & remote).
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, operating systems, and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to systems, printers, and telephony in a timely manner.
- Maintain user accounts, access controls, and security permissions (Active Directory, Office 365/Google Workspace).
- Respond to inquiries from staff, service providers, site personnel, and vendors to provide technical assistance.
- Manage the administration of systems, servers, and related networks to ensure service availability.
- Manage IT assets, licenses, and inventory for servers, desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
- Document IT support processes and maintain an internal knowledge base.
DevOps (Learning & Growth)
- Assist in configuring, deploying, and monitoring applications across development, staging, and production environments.
- Support CI/CD pipeline development, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for reliability, scalability, and security.
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
- Support containerization and orchestration systems (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis to improve system reliability.
Who We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (recent graduate preferred).
- 1-2 years of IT support experience.
- Familiarity with operating systems, networking basics, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, scripting, or DevOps tools is a plus.
- Hands-on, eager to learn DevOps, and comfortable with both software & hardware.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
