Job Summary
Create detailed cabinet and furniture designs using software, take precise measurements, calculate materials and costs, and collaborate with sales, installers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project completion within deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed designs and plans for cabinets and furniture using design software to support accurate project execution
- Take precise measurements and calculate required materials, labor, and costs to ensure project feasibility and budgeting
- Document all material specifications including colors, hardware, finishes, and other items in drawings to maintain design accuracy
- Produce all assigned drawings, including 3D renders, to visually communicate design intent
- Track and update changes to designs and construction work, adjusting drawings to reflect current project status
- Collaborate with sales personnel, installers, clients, and stakeholders to align on site structure and design requirements
- Adhere to project design deadlines to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in interior design or the furniture and cabinet industry
- Able to use 2D & 3D Autocad software
- Able to use solidworks software
