Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, maintain, and support database and data warehouse environments for AI and analytics workloads.
- Develop, manage, and monitor data pipelines to ensure data availability, quality, and integrity.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) activities to support business and AI initiatives.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database and data warehouse performance.
- Ensure system reliability, availability, and operational stability.
- Collaborate with data engineers, AI teams, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
- Support data preparation and integration activities for analytics and AI projects.
- Maintain documentation of data warehouse architecture, configurations, processes, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in database administration, data warehousing, or data engineering.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, database management systems, and data warehouse concepts.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline management.
- Experience in database performance monitoring, tuning, and optimization.
- Understanding of data quality, data governance, and data security best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams.
- Relevant certifications in database administration, cloud platforms, or data engineering are an advantage.
