- Basic understanding of the banking domain with familiarity with card products: credit cards, debit cards
- Understanding of card lifecycle processes: issuance, activation, transactions, settlements, disputes, and chargebacks.
- Knowledge of payment networks like Visa, MasterCard, etc. is a plus.
- Awareness of SICS (Standard Interbank Card System) or similar banking card processing systems.
- Basic understanding of banking regulations and compliance related to card payments.
- Knowledge of Software Testing fundamentals: SDLC, STLC, types of testing (functional, regression, integration, UAT).
- Ability to write and execute test cases based on requirements.
- Experience to manual testing primarily automation experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA
- Understanding of test artefacts: test plan, cases, and test reports(DSR)
- Basic understanding of web technologies (HTTP, HTTPS, APIs).
- Familiarity with card transaction flows and related messaging protocols.
