We are looking for a JuniorButcher cum Customer Service staff to join our retail shop team. This role combines hands-on butchery work with customer interaction, ensuring high standards of product quality, cleanliness, and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cut, trim, debone, and portion meat products (beef, lamb, pork, poultry) according to company standards
- Maintain product display and ensure freshness of meat and deli items
- Handle customer inquiries, provide product recommendations, and process sales transactions
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards at all times
- Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock to maintain inventory accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including counters, equipment, and cold storage
- Support overall store operations as required
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of butchery experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of meat cuts and handling techniques
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-oriented attitude
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a chilled environment
- Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and retail hours on a rotational basis
