Junior Business Analyst

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering, documenting, and analysing business requirements from stakeholders.
• Support Business Analysts and project teams in preparing requirements, process flows, user stories, and functional documentation.
• Coordinate with business users, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Assist in analysing existing business processes and identifying areas for improvement.
• Support UAT activities, including test case preparation, execution, defect tracking, and validation.
• Prepare meeting minutes, status updates, requirement documents, and project-related reports.
• Participate in project meetings and follow up on action items with relevant stakeholders.
• Support production issues, change requests, and enhancement activities.
• Work closely with technology teams to ensure business requirements are correctly understood and implemented.

Requirements

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply candidates with 0-2 years of relevant experience are also encouraged.
• Diploma / Polytechnic qualification or Degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Finance, Banking, or a related discipline.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong interest in Banking / Financial Services and technology.
• Basic understanding of SDLC, Agile methodology, and software development processes is an advantage.
• Good documentation and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Candidates with internship or project experience in Banking, Fintech, or IT will have an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to JIRA, Confluence, SQL, UAT, or requirements management.
• Basic understanding of banking processes such as payments, loans, deposits, cards, or digital banking will be advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and learn new banking systems and processes quickly.

A motivated fresh graduate or junior professional with good analytical and communication skills who is keen to build a career as a Business Analyst within the Banking / Financial Services sector.
