Key Responsibilities
Corporate Actions Operations & Application Support
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Corporate Actions applications within the assigned business domain.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of application architecture, data flows, system interfaces, and business processes.
- Provide day-to-day support to business users, responding to operational queries and offering guidance on system functionality and best practices.
- Ensure Corporate Actions events are processed accurately and within regulatory, market, and internal service level requirements.
- Monitor operational processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Client Servicing & Event Management
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Corporate Actions events, including both mandatory and voluntary events.
- Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of client notifications for voluntary events such as rights issues, dividend options, warrant expiries, redemptions, and other market events.
- Capture, validate, and execute client instructions accurately while safeguarding client entitlements.
- Act as a key point of contact for client and stakeholder enquiries, delivering exceptional service and timely resolution.
Testing & Change Delivery
- Define testing approaches, test strategies, and acceptance criteria for system enhancements and project deliveries.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including planning, scheduling, execution, defect management, and reporting.
- Coordinate closely with Technology, Operations, and Business stakeholders to ensure successful testing outcomes.
- Track, validate, and resolve defects and issues prior to production deployment.
- Support system implementation activities and post-deployment validation where required.
Governance, Documentation & Controls
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation covering business requirements, solution designs, data flows, business rules, and testing artefacts.
- Ensure all deliverables comply with established governance standards, controls, and documentation frameworks.
- Support audit and regulatory requirements through accurate record-keeping and process transparency.
- Promote risk management practices and operational controls across all activities.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance or any related discipline.
- Proven experience in Corporate Actions processing, with solid knowledge of both mandatory and voluntary events.
- Experience working within a Banking, Custody, Securities Services, or Financial Services environment.
- Hands-on experience in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing.
- Good understanding of end-to-end Corporate Actions workflows, system integrations, and data management processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with Technology teams, Operations users, and business stakeholders.
- Excellent documentation and business analysis skills.
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, quality, and client service.
