- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for FX and Money Market activities in Calypso.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to prioritize requirements and break them into clear user stories.
- Convert business needs into concise functional specifications covering flows, data, and system behavior.
- Work closely with developers to ensure solutions meet functional requirements.
- Act as the functional point of contact, clarifying business processes and user needs.
- Assess existing internal and external solutions for possible reuse.
- Consider technical constraints and contribute to solution design discussions.
- Ensure functional quality through testing and production support.
- Evaluate the impact of changes on SLAs and OLAs.
- Support BDD by defining user scenarios and assisting with functional tests.
- Assist deployment activities, including pre-requisites and post-go-live checks.
- Support and train team members and help resolve functional issues.
- Ensure smooth integration with existing systems alongside the Functional Architect.
- Prepare specifications, estimates, plans, test cases, and documentation.
Qualifications and Profile
- 1-2 years of experience in Business Analysis roles.
- Knowledge of static data, workflows, confirmations, settlements, SWIFT messages, positions, accounting, corporate actions, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Strong understanding of FX, Money Market, and cash products trade lifecycle.
- Experience with regulatory reporting (HRF, NORIA, MMSR).
- Exposure to back-office systems and system integrations.
- Familiarity with requirements lifecycle management and analysis techniques.
- Experience acting as a liaison between onshore business teams and offshore development teams.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and requirements management practices.
Functional Knowledge
- Strong understanding of Calypso functional modules (static data, workflows, settlements, accounting, reporting, reconciliation).
- Solid knowledge of FX, money market, and cash products lifecycle.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Calypso versions v14 to v17.
- Basic knowledge of UNIX, SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
