About the Role
We're looking for a junior designer with strong design instincts and a genuine curiosity about users, products, and how software gets built.
This role requires the candidate to be based in Singapore and to report to our Singapore office 3 out of 5 days a week.
This role is open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only. We are not sponsoring Employment Passes or other work visas for this position.
This is not a pure UI design role. AI now handles a lot of what used to be the bulk of a junior designer's day — wireframing, mockups, basic UI iterations. What it can't do is talk to real customers, scope features end-to-end, and shepherd a project through engineering. That's the work we want this hire focused on.
You'll work closely with customers, product managers, and engineers to understand problems, shape solutions, and move features from idea to launch. Over time, we want this person to grow into a design-led product owner who can drive discovery, feature shaping, and delivery across our customer-facing product work.
What You'll Do
- Join customer calls and user interviews to understand pain points, workflows, and unmet needs in B2B procurement
- Scope features alongside product managers — translate raw customer needs into shippable scope
- Design clean, thoughtful, user-friendly product experiences across ProcureFlow's web platform, using AI tools to move quickly
- Synthesise user feedback into problem statements, feature ideas, and design directions
- Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes to communicate solutions clearly
- Collaborate closely with engineers to answer product and design questions during implementation
- Track the progress of features and follow up to ensure customer needs are being addressed
- Support customer-facing follow-ups for feature clarification and rollout readiness
What We're Looking For
- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident (no work pass sponsorship for this role)
- Based in Singapore and able to report to our Singapore office 3 out of 5 days a week
- 1-3 years of experience in product design, UX design, or a related role
- Strong taste and judgment in product design, with a portfolio that shows design thinking (not just polished visuals)
- Curious about why users behave the way they do, not just how screens should look
- Comfortable speaking to customers and scoping features end-to-end (this is a big part of the role)
- Fluent with AI tools to amplify your output — Figma AI, image generation, prompt-based prototyping, etc.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Organised and able to keep track of conversations, action items, and feature follow-ups
- Able to work across design, product, and engineering without getting lost in ambiguity
