Job Description
The Junior Architectural Designer will support the project team across all design phases, including concept development, design documentation, and construction detailing. This role involves assisting with drawing production, material research, and coordination with consultants and vendors under the guidance of senior designers. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and capable of translating design intent into clear visual and technical outputs, while contributing positively to a collaborative studio environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the senior team members on designing all aspects of the building from concept to completion
- Support the senior team members conducting site inspections on matters of design & technical co-ordination issues and building regulations
- Organization & preparation of construction documents and drawings
- Prepare drafts of material specifications and schedule of finishes
Job Requirements
- Architectural Degree/ Diploma is necessary. It is preferred that degree/ diploma is recognized by Board of Architects Singapore.
- Minimum Fresh Grad to 3 years of experience in architect function for diverse property projects
- Working experience in Singapore preferred.
- Experience in Hospitality and Residential is a must. Commercial and Mixed Development shall be a bonus.
- Able to do freehand sketches and possess good command of AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, Sketchup and any other tools to fully express design ideas and communicate with project team and clients
- Possess creative ideas and proven track record of design portfolio with excellent design detailing skills and time management
- Able to work independently in coming up with design ideas/ solutions and expressing them clearly, Able to work in a team and under guidance of the Senior Architects and Director.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Passionate and motivated personnel preferred who is willing to work hard and long hours to complete projects
