This role is ideal for a creative 2D animator or visual worldbuilder passionate about crafting immersive environments. You will design five original animated background scenes for Mono, a digital character with a CRT-style TV head and cable-like hair, set in a gritty, emotional, sci-fi urban world inspired by forgotten technology. The focus is on developing unique, atmospheric scenes that feel authentic to Mono's universe, incorporating subtle animation loops and moody visual storytelling. Your work will help define the emotional tone and visual identity of Mono's world, drawing inspiration from references like Lofi Girl and 1924us, but tailored specifically to this project.
Deliverables
- Design and animate five distinct background scenes, each reflecting a unique aspect of Mono's sci-fi urban environment.
- Integrate subtle animation loops such as flickering lights, floating dust, or gentle camera movements to enhance atmosphere.
- Ensure each scene is cohesive with Mono's character and narrative, avoiding generic backgrounds.
- Deliver final assets in MP4, MOV, GIF, or Moho-compatible formats.
- Maintain originality in all visual elements; AI-generated content is not accepted.
Requirements
