Job Summary
Assist in managing the full set of accounts for SME clients, ensuring accurate financial data processing and compliance with regulatory requirements. Support month-end closing, GST submission, and preparation of financial statements while maintaining effective client communication and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Process full set of accounts for SME clients to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Perform data entry, accounts payable and receivable processing, and bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and integrity
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST (Form F5) in compliance with IRAS regulations to meet statutory deadlines
- Support month-end closing activities and prepare management reports to provide timely financial insights
- Assist in preparing unaudited financial statements to facilitate internal and external reporting
- Communicate effectively with clients to resolve accounting queries and provide professional support
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records to ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma in Accountancy or related discipline
- Basic knowledge of Singapore GST regulations to support compliance tasks
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Manager.io to enhance efficiency
- Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in financial data processing
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting practices and technologies
