About the job

You will perform hands-on operational finance tasks in a lean team, managing day-to-day accounting activities. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will support financial reporting and compliance and maintain strong internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage full sets of accounts to ensure accurate financial records
• Prepare journal entries and post transactions to maintain up-to-date ledgers
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Assist in month-end closing activities to support timely financial reporting
• Support GST filing processes to ensure regulatory compliance
• Verify staff claims for reimbursement
• Provide assistance during year-end group audit processes to facilitate audit completion
• Execute other ad-hoc finance duties as assigned to support operational needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent qualification
• 3 to 5 years of experience handling a full set of accounting tasks
• Prior accounting experience in the construction industry will be a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Xero Accounting
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate within the team
• This role is only open to Singaporean and/or Singapore PR
• Availability to start work on short notice
