JC Mathematics Specialist

Responsibilities

. Plan and deliver engaging JC Mathematics lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE JC syllabus.

. Assess students learning needs and customise lesson plans to maximise learning outcomes.

. Teach mathematical concepts in areas such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and probability.

. Guide students in applying mathematical methods, logical reasoning, and problem-solving strategies.

. Teach JC Mathematics according to the tutor's expertise.

. Mark assignments, monitor student progress, and provide timely, constructive feedback.

. Prepare students for school assessments and national examinations.

. Develop students confidence, accuracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

. Create a positive, engaging, and disciplined learning environment.

. Communicate professionally with parents regarding students academic progress.

. Develop teaching resources, lesson materials, and classroom activities.

. Uphold ATOP Academy's teaching standards, values, and commitment to academic excellence.

Requirements

. GCE A-Level, Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Education, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

. Strong knowledge of JC mathematical concepts and problem-solving methods.

. Familiarity with the Singapore MOE JC Mathematics syllabus and assessment requirements.

. Ability to teach JC Mathematics is preferred.

. Passion for teaching and supporting JC school students.

. Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.

. Responsible, patient, enthusiastic, and committed to student success.

. Prior teaching or tutoring experience is an advantage but not required.
