Key Responsibilities
- Perform endtoend development and testing activities, requiring strong Java expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, and Hibernate, along with willingness to execute manual and regression testing and implement timely defect fixes.
- Execute approximately 2,200 manual regression test cases using Zephyr to validate system stability and functionality.
- Accurately document, track, and update all test outcomes in Zephyr and Jira.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to the Spring Boot and Hibernate upgrades.
- Conduct comprehensive rootcause analysis and implement necessary code fixes, enhancements, or optimizations.
- Design and develop backend REST APIs for the Dashboard using Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Collaborate closely with crossfunctional development and QA teams throughout the upgrade and testing cycles.
- Ensure proper maintenance and archiving of all code changes, testing artifacts, and technical documentation.
- Support golive readiness activities, postdeployment stabilization, and followup issue resolution.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Hibernate.
- Experience in backend system upgrades, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
- Handson experience performing manual regression testing and validating largescale test suites.
- Familiarity with testing and project management tools such as Zephyr and Jira.
- Ability to operate effectively in a hybrid working environment and collaborate across distributed teams.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins).
- Understanding of automation testing frameworks such as Selenium or JUnit.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of handson Java backend development experience.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices and testing methodologies.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to perform under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
