Role

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and RESTful services. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java and Spring technologies, experience in secure API development, and exposure to modern CI/CD practices within Agile delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and microservices
• Ensure application security using OAuth2, JWT, and encryption standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile delivery models
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for application development and optimization
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning activities
• Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment processes
• Maintain code quality, scalability, and system reliability

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Java development
• Strong expertise in Java 8+/11+, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC
• Solid experience in RESTful API development
• Good understanding of API security concepts including OAuth2 and JWT
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and code quality tools
• Experience working in Agile onshore/offshore delivery models
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Experience with cloud platforms is an advantage
• Familiarity with containerization and DevOps practices is a plus
