Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a strong Senior Java Developer with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting complex enterprise applications. The candidate will work on Wealth Management/Banking systems and be responsible for translating business requirements into scalable and high-performing technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring, and related Java technologies.
• Build and support REST/SOAP web services, JMS/IBM MQ, and database integrations.
• Analyse complex production issues, troubleshoot legacy applications, and provide production support.
• Write unit and acceptance tests using JUnit and TDD practices.
• Develop and optimise complex SQL queries for relational databases such as Oracle/MySQL.
• Participate in technical design, code reviews, architectural discussions, and Agile development.
• Ensure adherence to coding, security, performance, and banking technology standards.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to analyse requirements and deliver technical solutions.
