Role:
. Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
. Design, develop, test, and maintain high-volume, high-performance backend systems for an Automatic Fare Collection platform.
. Produce and maintain SDLC deliverables including Business Rules, SRS, Architecture Documents, Design Specs, Interface Specs, Test Plans, O&M Manuals, and Training Manuals.
. Provide day-to-day application support and troubleshooting in production.
. Liaise with business users, stakeholders, and back-office teams on requirements, design, and UAT.
. Collaborate with development teams to deliver scalable, reliable software solutions.
. Contribute to software modernization efforts including containerization and migration to microservices.
Requirements:
. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
. Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise software development.
. Proven experience delivering at least 1 full SDLC with documentation.
. Strong experience in Java/JEE, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
. Hands-on with web application development, database interfacing using JDBC and SQL.
. Experience with UNIX/Linux and Windows environments.
. Experience in Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
. Experience with software modernization, containerization, and microservices architecture.
. Experience with message queues. Solace experience preferred.
. Experience in database design, development, and performance tuning.
. Exposure to Cloud Computing, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS services such as ECS Fargate, RDS, and Lambda is an advantage.
. Domain experience in Automatic Fare Collection systems is an advantage.
. Knowledge of EMV and PCI DSS standards is an advantage.
. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
