I'm partnering with a fast-growing Web3 company to hire a Senior Java Developer with strong backend development experience. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building high-performance, scalable systems that power decentralized applications and blockchain-based platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot / Spring Cloud).
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-availability systems to support blockchain and Web3 applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including blockchain engineers, frontend developers, and product managers.
- Participate in system design reviews and contribute to improving architecture and development processes.
- Optimize application performance and ensure system reliability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
- Communicate effectively with both English- and Chinese-speaking stakeholders across regions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of backend development experience with strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, multithreading, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).
- Familiarity with databases (MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, etc.).
- Experience working in Web3, blockchain, or fintech environments is a strong plus.
- Mandarin is required due to the need to communicate with Mandarin speaking clients and counterparts
