Java Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Java Backend Developer with 2-3 years of experience to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our core backend applications. The ideal candidate should be passionate about troubleshooting complex issues, building scalable backend solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy new features and change requests (CRs).
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications using Java.
• Review, optimize, and refactor legacy code to improve maintainability and performance.
• Conduct code reviews and promote coding best practices within the team.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Frontend teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for efficient database operations.
• Ensure application reliability, security, and scalability.

Mandatory Skills

• 2-3 years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with ReactJS or NodeJS.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of REST APIs and backend application architecture.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.

Good to Have

• Experience with Spring Boot or related Java frameworks.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with performance tuning and application monitoring.
