Java Developer (Backend)

• Monday to Friday, 9am - 7pm

• Location: Paya Lebar / Remotely

Our client is a software and application developer company

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing core backend system code and delivering on time, ensuring delivery quality and version maintenance.

• Address performance, high-concurrency, and reliability issues during backend development.

• Responsible for the design of software architecture, key components, and interfaces tackle technical challenges and resolve performance and security issues.

• Lead the research, introduction, and implementation of cutting-edge technologies, and build and maintain modular components.

Requirements:

• Solid foundation in Java programming proficient in applying design patterns and coding standards, with strong understanding and practical experience in data structures and algorithms.

• Proficient in application development frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, MyBatis, etc., with strong coding capabilities.

• Skilled in using databases such as MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL, with strong SQL writing and optimization abilities.

• Proficient in one or more of the following middleware technologies: Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, MongoDB, ZooKeeper, HBase, Elasticsearch, etc. understand their underlying principles and be able to identify and resolve issues.

• Experience in business system development, with in-depth and broad understanding of existing systems, and able to propose improvement suggestions (including business architecture and processes).

• Strong communication skills, good teamwork spirit, and experience collaborating closely with product managers, frontend developers, and other stakeholders.

• Strong sense of responsibility with good communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience in large-scale distributed system development is a plus.

• Experience in big data processing is a plus.

• Minimum of 5 years of Java development experiences
