Java CardLink Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java Card applets for smart card solutions.
• Implement secure applications in compliance with EMV, Global Platform.
• Work on card personalization, key management, and secure data storage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, QA, product, integration) to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Debug and resolve issues related to card lifecycle management and transaction processing.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices in payment/identity systems.

Required Skills

• 3-7 years of professional experience in Java development, with at least 3+ years in Java Card technology.
• Strong understanding of Java Card API, GlobalPlatform specifications, APDU commands.
• Experience with smart card personalization, card issuance systems, and PKI-based authentication.
• Knowledge of cryptography concepts (RSA, AES, DES, PKI, key exchange, certificates).
• Proficiency in debugging smart card applications and working with simulators/emulators.
• Familiarity with secure elements (SE), payment cards, telecom SIMs, or eID solutions.
