Role Overview
The Java Backend Developer will design, develop, and maintain backend services and microservices, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and related frameworks.
- Participate in solution design, code reviews, and technical documentation.
- Optimise database queries, ensure secure coding practices, and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with front-end, QA, and DevOps teams for seamless delivery.
- Maintain CI/CD integration and support automated deployment pipelines.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and performance tuning for backend applications.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Java backend development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices, and relational/non-relational databases.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile delivery.
