Job Responsibilities:

Backend Server Software Engineer

As a Backend Server Software Engineer for CDI, you will be part of Digital Engineering & Services team, contains cross functional development scrum team to deliver a solution to support mobile connectivity service.

A week in the life of a Backend Sever Software Engineer:

• You will develop the backend features as a part of a complex solution that requires expertise on designing, implementing, validating, and deploying the features.
• You will contribute on writing and reviewing technical product documentations as well as user documentations.
• You will work together and collaborate with a productive cross-functional team under a scrum process.
• You will work together and collaborate with other teams working on different sub-systems to be integrated with solution you are developing.
• You shall ensure the compliances with development rules and policies, then also to apply the best practices.
• Reviews and challenge the requirement specifications & alert on unclear scope, possible issues & risks foreseen.
• Manage technical risks and share them with project manager, hub manager, and engineering manager on regular basis.
• Perform regular report (tasks progress, risks, etc).

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• To succeed in this job, you must have around 5 years experiences as a developer with Java technologies expertise to develop a software solution deployed in GCP Serverless Platform.
• You must have knowledge and practical experiences on: Linux, Docker, GCP (Google Cloud Platform), CI/CD pipeline, Restful API, Karate test framework, working with relational database, understanding of design patterns and micro service architecture.
• You must be fluent in English.
• You must have a Degree in Computer Science, Software, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology or a related field.
