Responsibilities:
- Develop new customers and distributors while maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts (balanced new business and account management).
- Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and participate in sales and marketing activities, exhibitions, and trade shows.
- Collaborate with senior management to support strategic and operational sales targets.
- Coordinate with R&D teams to present new product features and technology enhancements.
- Liaise with manufacturing partners on production forecasts, quality matters, delivery schedules, engineering issues, and pricing to support sales objectives.
- Manage customer enquiries, prepare quotations, and provide after-sales support and services in a timely manner.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales activity reports, sales forecasts, and quarterly sales performance reports.
- Plan and conduct customer visits, subject to approval, to address issues, gather market intelligence, and understand customer expectations and feedback.
- Support administrative planning and budgeting for exhibitions, trade shows, and advertising activities for brand development.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience in flat cables, electronics, or electrical components.
- Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel overseas when required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Sound business acumen with proven customer relationship management capabilities.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently.
