Job Title: Japanese Cuisine Chef de Partie (Sushi & Kitchen)
Salary: $38,000 - $55,000 per year (based on experience) + Benefits
Employment Type: Full-time (5-6 day work week)
Own the Station: You'll be responsible for preparing and plating beautiful dishes, from delicate sashimi and crispy tempura to hearty donburi with consistency and speed.
Lead the Line: When you're running a shift, the kitchen looks to you. You'll guide the team, keep the flow smooth, and solve problems before they happen.
Mentor & Grow: Help train junior team members. Show them the right way to handle a knife, respect the ingredients, and work clean. We grow together.
Keep Us Ready: You'll help manage prep lists and keep an eye on inventory. A well-organized fridge is a happy fridge.
Stay Sharp on Safety: Clean as you go. We maintain a spotless, organized workspace because that's where the best food comes from.
Who We're Looking For
You don't need to be a silent master chef, but you do need to bring these things to the table:
Experience Matters: At least 2 years working in a professional kitchen. Formal training in Japanese cuisine is a big bonus, but real-world experience speaks volumes.
The Right Mindset: You genuinely appreciate the precision and balance of Japanese food. You're reliable-when you say you'll be here, you show up ready to work.
Team Player: Kitchens are busy places. We need someone who communicates clearly, stays calm under pressure, and helps the person next to them.
