IT Systems Technician

Reports to: Operations Director

We are looking for a proactive and skilled IT Systems Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems, supporting both end-users and core IT infrastructure across the business. You will play a key role in maintaining servers, networks, and user devices, as well as assisting with IT projects and system upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

. Provide technical support for end-users, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.

. Install, configure, and maintain servers, network devices, and software applications.

. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.

. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access through Active Directory.

. Assist in network administration, including LAN/WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi support.

. Support backup and disaster recovery processes, ensuring business continuity.

. Liaise with vendors for IT procurement, maintenance, and licensing.

. Maintain documentation of IT systems, assets, and support processes.

. Participate in IT projects, upgrades, and system migrations as required.

Requirements & Qualifications

. Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

. 3-5+ years of experience in IT support, systems, or network administration.

. Strong knowledge of Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory, Intune, networking and Microsoft 365.

. Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), backups, and system monitoring tools.

. Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

. Good communication and documentation skills.

. Certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+/Server+, Microsoft MCSA, or Cisco CCNA are a plus.
