Job Summary
We seek a highly-driven and passionate ICT Trainer to deliver vendor and Skillsfuture accredited courses, customize training content, and contribute as a subject matter expert to support technology talent development.
Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging online training sessions using various delivery tools to ensure effective learner engagement
- Deliver official vendor courses and Skillsfuture accredited courses and assessments to meet certification standards
- Stay current with emerging technologies and maintain relevant certifications to ensure training content is up to date
- Collaborate with customers to contextualize and customize course content and delivery to meet their specific needs
- Develop, update, and deliver customized and new course materials to address evolving technology trends
- Serve as a subject matter expert by contributing knowledge on sales, licensing, and product features to support organizational goals
- Lead ad hoc projects and seminars both in-house and at public events to expand training reach and impact
Required competencies and certifications
- Certification in relevant subject areas such as Microsoft, VMWare, Red Hat, CISCO, EC-Council, Comptia, or equivalent
- Conversant with cloud and virtualization technologies to effectively deliver related training
- Microsoft Certified Trainer or equivalent certification (negotiable)
- WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) or WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP)
- Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in relevant ICT fields
- Proficient in course content delivery, communication, presentation, and classroom management skills
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Working or consulting experience in relevant technologies to enhance training effectiveness
- Technical skills in Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Veeam, Cloud or Security Technology to support diverse course offerings
