IT Systems & Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

. Design, install, and maintain network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, routers, firewalls)

. Configure and manage servers (Windows/Linux), Active Directory, and domain services

. Develop and maintain web-based applications using JavaScript, C#, and PHP

. Manage and optimize databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL)

. Troubleshoot system, network, and application issues

. Design, develop, and maintain software applications according to specifications.

. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications.

. Handle any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

. Experience with troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network, server, and end-user systems is an advantage

. Ensure system security, backup, and disaster recovery processes

Requirements

. Minimum Qualifications: Diploma or a BSc/BEng in Computer Science, or a related field.

. Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)

. Experience with server setup and administration (Windows Server / Linux)

. Hands-on experience with Active Directory / domain management

. Proven experience in software development with relevant programming languages (e.g., .Net C#, JavaScript, PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS).

. Experience with database systems such as MySQL/MS SQL.

. Familiarity with API integration and web services

. Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud)

. Willingness and ability to learn new technologies quickly.

. Positive attitude, proactive, and willing to take ownership of tasks

. Patient and able to work under pressure

. Strong teamwork and communication skills.

. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
. Preferably with class 3 driving license.

Work Location: Clementi Loop

Work Arrangement: 5 days from 8am to 5.45pm
