Our client is a premier technology solutions provider seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer (Hybrid Infrastructure) to join their growing regional team. This role is designed for a technical heavy-hitter who thrives in multi-client environments and enjoys the full lifecycle of infrastructure-from the first whiteboard design to long-term operational excellence.

about the job

Day 1: Implementation & Deployment

• Translate business requirements into scalable, high-availability (HA) infrastructure designs.
• Lead end-to-end migrations and integrations across On-Premise, Azure, and AWS environments.
• Orchestrate multi-site Active Directory environments and complex GPOs execute Hybrid Identity deployments using Entra ID Connect.
• Deploy Intune MDM and Autopilot for modern endpoint management.

Day 2: Operations & Optimization

• Manage failover clustering and compute health to ensure always-on availability.
• Act as the final escalation point for complex technical hurdles that Tier 1/2 cannot resolve.
• Manage the connective tissue of the stack, including VLANs, DHCP/DNS, Site-to-Site VPNs, and firewall rules.
• Maintain rigorous standards for technical documentation, including network topologies, SOPs, and As-Built project reports.

skills and experience required
Minimum 4-5 years of solid technical experience in a project-heavy or consulting role.

Mastery of the Microsoft ecosystem (Windows Server, AD, GPO) paired with strong hands-on experience in Azure and/or AWS cloud services.

Strong grasp of networking fundamentals (Routing, Switching, Firewalling) as it pertains to systems integration.

Ability to act as a Technical Consultant, explaining complex infrastructure ROI to stakeholders and clients.
