As an IT System Operator (Contract), you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Monitor and maintain daily IT infrastructure operations at client sites.
- Ensure all system services and applications start up correctly.
- Execute and verify scheduled batch jobs, flagging any failures.
- Perform data backup and restoration using offline storage media.
- Conduct regular server health checks and performance monitoring.
- Carry out basic diagnostics and troubleshooting of technical issues.
- Escalate unresolved incidents promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Operate on a rotating 24/7 shift schedule for continuous coverage.
- Submit accurate daily operational reports to direct supervisors.
- Support ad-hoc projects and special assignments as directed by stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Possess a Professional Certificate/ NiTEC, A-level, or Diploma in IT related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant working experience in shift work environment
