Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the lifecycle of IT hardware assets: receive, configure, distribute, and reclaim desktops, laptops, peripherals (mice, keyboards, monitors), printers, and other end‑user devices.

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT equipment coordinate with procurement for replenishment and vendor repair services.

  • Provide technical support to staff for hardware issues (e.g., printer jams, peripheral malfunctions, system boot failures) and software problems (e.g., Office 365, business applications).

  • Configure, troubleshoot, and support network connectivity, including wired/wireless LAN, and remote access via VPN clients (e.g., Cisco AnyConnect, FortiClient, or similar).

  • Assist with user account administration (Active Directory / Azure AD, email accounts) and password resets.

  • Install, update, and patch operating systems and standard software on end‑user devices.

  • Document common issues and solutions in a knowledge base create user guides for frequent tasks (e.g., VPN connection, printer setup).

  • Collaborate with the IT team on infrastructure projects and system upgrades.

  • Train end‑users on basic IT hygiene and self‑service tools.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • 1-3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or desktop support roles.

  • Hands‑on experience with Windows (10/11) and macOS familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) is a plus.

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, subnetting, and VLANs.

  • Proven ability to configure and troubleshoot VPN clients and remote connectivity issues.

  • Experience with printer configuration and maintenance (both local and network printers).

  • Familiarity with Active Directory user/group management and O365 administration.

  • Strong customer service mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast‑paced environment and document work clearly.
