Join Our Team as an IT Support Officer!
We are looking for a hands-on, solutions-driven IT Support Officer to support and manage essential tech systems across our retail stores and head office. In this fast-paced role, you will handle everything from hardware and software troubleshooting to system implementation and vendor coordination. You will play a key role in keeping critical operations-from inventory and sales systems to HR and accounting-running smoothly. Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains, manages, troubleshoots and upgrades computer systems and servers for performance and security and related issues
- Provides end-user support for a variety of web applications
- Troubleshoots information technology-related issues for both hardware and software
- Coordinates the set-up of data services, as well as phones, computers, and printer installation
- Coordinates the planning, implementation and maintenance of all information technology products with internal and external stakeholders
- Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Target Systems
- Retail systems (e.g., purchasing, procurement, sales, inventory management)
- Food service management systems (e.g., sushi operations)
- Accounting systems
- HR systems
- IT devices (PCs, MFPs, servers, mobile phones, etc.)
- Network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, etc.)
Required Experience & Skills
- Basic knowledge of POS environments in supermarkets or hypermarkets
- At least 2 years of experience as an in-house IT Officer
- Hands-on experience with setup of PCs, servers, MFPs, and general networking
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools and data processing using CSV or text files
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Flexible in task prioritization and shifting responsibilities as needed
- Comfortable working in a multicultural team environment
- Understanding of retail store operations and a service-oriented approach to frontline IT support
