We are looking for a hands-on and reliable IT Support & Field Engineer to support our in-house software systems and IT infrastructure.
This role involves:
- onsite deployment and support
- troubleshooting hardware/software issues
- assisting users with our in-house applications
- basic networking and cloud support
- field visits when required
You should be comfortable working independently, solving technical problems, and supporting day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
Software & User Support
- Provide technical support for company in-house software
- Troubleshoot software, system, and user issues
- Assist users with setup, onboarding, and usage guidance
- Escalate complex software bugs to the development team
- Perform software installation, updates, and configuration
IT Infrastructure Support
- Support desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Troubleshoot Windows and network-related issues
- Configure routers, Wi-Fi, VPN, and basic firewall settings
- Assist with system backups and basic server maintenance
- Monitor and maintain IT equipment inventory
Field Support
- Perform onsite deployment, installation, and troubleshooting
- Travel to customer or branch locations when required
- Coordinate with vendors and external service providers
- Support hardware replacement and system setup
Cloud & Security Support
- Assist with basic AWS cloud administration
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and MFA setup
- Support endpoint security and software patching
- Follow IT security and operational best practices
Requirements
Preferred Skills & Experience
- 1-3 years of IT support or field support experience
- Basic knowledge of networking and Windows administration
- Familiarity with AWS or cloud platforms is an advantage
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices
- Experience supporting software applications is preferred
- Able to troubleshoot independently and communicate clearly
Technical Knowledge
- Windows OS and Microsoft 365
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPN)
- Basic router/firewall configuration
- Hardware and peripheral troubleshooting
- AWS basics (EC2, IAM, backups) is a plus
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Responsible and self-motivated
- Willing to travel for onsite support when needed
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Diploma / ITE / Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Relevant certifications are a plus:CompTIA A+Network+AWS Cloud PractitionerMicrosoft certifications
