JOB SUMMARY (GENERAL NATURE / OBJECTIVES OF THE JOB):
The IT Support Engineer provides comprehensive Level 1 to 3 technical support both remotely and on-site. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining hardware/software, managing IT infrastructure, liaising with vendors, and supporting system deployments for new projects. The role requires strong troubleshooting abilities, experience with enterprise systems, and the capability to work in a bilingual environment, particularly within industries such as construction or engineering.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:
- Provide Level 1 to 3 remote and on-site IT technical support, diagnosing and resolving user issues efficiently.
- Set up, configure, and maintain computers, software, and peripherals for new and existing users.
- Manage and maintain IT systems and infrastructure including firewalls, servers, network devices, NAS, CCTV, AV systems, access control systems, and industry-specific applications.
- Coordinate with vendors for IT equipment and software repair, maintenance, and technical support.
- Maintain and update IT asset inventory to ensure accurate tracking of resources.
- Support deployment of IT systems in new projects and contribute to technical solution assessments aligned with business needs.
- Create and update IT documentation and user guides to enhance support efficiency and knowledge sharing.

- Familiarity with Linux OS and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware)
- Exposure to DevOps tools and practices
- Understanding of IT asset and documentation management
- Ability to assess and contribute to technical solutions for new projects
- Familiarity with IT systems specific to construction/engineering industries
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Fluency in Mandarin and English
- Familiarity with IT applications in the construction or engineering industry
MAJOR STUDY/SPECIALIST (EDUCATION):
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT technical support or system administration.
