Responsibilities
- Production support: Troubleshoot and resolve bugs across multiple financial regulatory applications
- System administration: Manage user accounts, perform password resets, and configure access rights
- Deployment management: Execute deployments for applications and coordinate release activities
- Configuration updates: Implement system configuration changes as requested by business units
- Infrastructure support: Assist with server patching, database maintenance, and infrastructure upgrades
- Security enhancement: Address vulnerability findings from penetration tests and security assessments
- Performance optimization: Tune application performance, particularly for ETL processes and database queries
- Job scheduling: Set up and monitor automated jobs in systems like SFTP/Autosys
- DevOps support: Maintain and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines
Technical Environment
You will work with applications running on:
- Operating Systems: MS Windows Server (2016/2019) and AIX 7.2.x
- Databases: Microsoft SQL Server 2019, Oracle 19c
- Application Servers: WebSphere Application Server 8.5.x, Microsoft IIS, Tomcat
- Development Technologies: .NET, Java/J2EE, ETL tools (SSIS/Informatica)
- Applications: Vizor Software, Microsoft Dynamics CRM 365, custom-built regulatory systems
Profile
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelors in Engineering or Business
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Operation System, databases Application Server preferably within a fast-paced, multinational environment.
- Strong technical knowledge in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Hands-on experience with IT support tools, remote desktop solutions, and ticketing systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions in a clear and user-friendly manner.
