Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist the IT Manager to develop infrastructure solutions according to IT strategy and drive transformation for the organization by adopting established platforms.
  • Keep abreast of the latest technologies and evaluate the feasibility of integrating or adopting the same to address business needs.
  • Assist in the requirements gathering, preparation of proposals, development of business case and conduct of presentations to system owners.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure high performance, availability, failover and disaster recovery.
  • Assist in system and business disaster recovery process and prepare incident reports in the event of outages.
  • Provide technical support for end-users, addressing issues related to desktop systems, software, hardware, and peripherals.
  • Manage inventory of IT equipment and supplies
  • Assist with PC setup and configuration

Requirement

  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in handling IT infrastructure implementation, and support escalations.
  • Hands-on experience with solutions from networking and cloud computing providers.
  • Preferably certificated in networking and system technologies, such as CCNA, MCITP
  • Have basic knowledge or relevant IT standards and practices
  • Team player and process driven with keen eye for detail.
  • Familiar with basic networking and OS i.e., TCP/IP, Windows and Windows Server
  • Able to work outside of office hours if needed.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a diverse, global team environment.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
