Assist the IT Manager to develop infrastructure solutions according to IT strategy and drive transformation for the organization by adopting established platforms.
Keep abreast of the latest technologies and evaluate the feasibility of integrating or adopting the same to address business needs.
Assist in the requirements gathering, preparation of proposals, development of business case and conduct of presentations to system owners.
Partner with stakeholders to ensure high performance, availability, failover and disaster recovery.
Assist in system and business disaster recovery process and prepare incident reports in the event of outages.
Provide technical support for end-users, addressing issues related to desktop systems, software, hardware, and peripherals.
Manage inventory of IT equipment and supplies
Assist with PC setup and configuration
Requirement
Degree holder in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in handling IT infrastructure implementation, and support escalations.
Hands-on experience with solutions from networking and cloud computing providers.
Preferably certificated in networking and system technologies, such as CCNA, MCITP
Have basic knowledge or relevant IT standards and practices
Team player and process driven with keen eye for detail.
Familiar with basic networking and OS i.e., TCP/IP, Windows and Windows Server
Able to work outside of office hours if needed.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a diverse, global team environment.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision
