IT Specialist (Financial Institution)

Hiring: IT Specialist (Lead) | Financial Services

A leading Asian investment firm is looking for an experienced IT Specialist to be the technology lead supporting a licensed fund management company.

This is a high-ownership role reporting to the Head of Enterprise Risk & Compliance, responsible for ensuring IT operations remain stable, secure, and audit-ready.

Key Responsibilities:
. Serve as the main point of contact for all IT matters (office & remote)
. Manage endpoints, business applications, and core systems
. Oversee network stability, cybersecurity monitoring, and cloud/on-prem environments
. Lead incident response, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes
. Administer user access controls and ensure policy compliance
. Manage and review Managed Service Provider (MSP) performance
. Maintain IT documentation, controls, and audit readiness

Requirements:
. Min. 5 years of in-house IT experience (financial services preferred)
. Strong hands-on experience in IT operations, access management, patching, backups
. Experience managing external IT vendors / MSPs
. Strong communication skills - able to explain technical matters to business users
