Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled IT Specialist with a strong focus on cloud cybersecurity to protect and maintain the integrity of cloud-based systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and monitor security measures across cloud environments, ensuring compliance with international standards and safeguarding organizational data against evolving threats. Candidates with international work experience and strong professional networking capabilities are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud security architectures across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Monitor cloud environments for security threats, vulnerabilities, and unauthorized access
- Manage identity and access controls (IAM), encryption, and key management systems
- Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing
- Respond to incidents, investigate breaches, and implement remediation strategies
- Ensure compliance with global security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, CIS benchmarks) across multiple regions
- Collaborate with international teams, vendors, and stakeholders across different time zones
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps practices)
- Maintain documentation of security policies, procedures, and incident reports
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and global cloud security best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 3-5+ years of experience in IT security, with a focus on cloud environments
- Proven experience working in international or multicultural environments
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP)
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, zero trust architecture)
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanners
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Familiarity with global compliance standards and cross-border data regulations
