Job Description

The IT Solutions Developer works closely with the members of the IT Development Department to come up with solutions with traditional programming and low code tools. The IT Solutions Developer will also come up with solutions for IT network and infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve issues in the IT network.

The ideal candidate will not only possess technical expertise but also demonstrate a strong commitment to innovation and passion for learning new knowledge. The candidate should also be a strong team player and committed to fostering knowledge-sharing through active participation in training and mentoring fellow colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with IT team members and departmental stakeholders to define, design, and create new features, applications and workflows using low-code platform and automation workflow tools like PowerApps and Power Automate.
  • Work with IT team members to maintain and enhance existing custom web applications, low code apps and automated workflows.
  • Conduct full lifecycle analysis, including requirements, activities, and design of IT solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network equipment (e.g., switches, wireless access points, UPS, firewalls).
  • Assist in cable replacement and device upgrade projects.
  • Ensure network and endpoint security and monitor compliance.
  • Assist in Microsoft 365 Admin services (Entra, Intune) and Microsoft account creation tasks and maintain scripts for these tasks
  • Administer hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Implement and manage backup solutions for data integrity.
  • Assist in procurement of servers and network hardware (including printers, switches, firewalls).
  • Support Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and NPS.
  • Provide technical helpdesk support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.

Requirements

  • Experience with low-code platform and automation workflow tools like PowerApps and Power Automate.
  • Experience with ASP.NET / VB.NET development.
  • Experience with MS SQL.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Administration. E.g. M365 User admin, Intune.
  • Experience with Windows Active Directory, Alcatel network equipment, Cisco Meraki and firewall technologies.
  • Knowledge of network security principles, endpoint protection, and data security best practices.
  • Proficiency in hypervisor platforms and backup solutions.
  • Experience with basic hardware, software and network troubleshooting.
