A leading organisation in the logistics and supply chain technology sector is seeking an experienced IT Solutions Architect to design and deliver next-generation digital platforms that support smart warehouse and supply chain operations.

This role sits at the intersection of enterprise IT systems, cloud technologies, and warehouse operations, enabling digital transformation across logistics, fulfilment, and transportation networks.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Architecture & System Integration

• Design scalable enterprise architectures integrating supply chain platforms such as WMS, ERP, and automation systems.

• Architect secure and reliable system integration between enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and operational technologies.

• Develop and maintain architecture frameworks that support business scalability and operational efficiency.

Application & Cloud Development

• Lead the design and development of modern applications supporting logistics and operational workflows.

• Drive adoption of cloud-native architectures, APIs, and microservices to modernise existing systems.

• Oversee CI/CD practices and ensure high-quality software delivery through agile development methodologies.

Smart Operations & Automation Enablement

• Work with internal stakeholders and technology partners to implement solutions involving warehouse automation, IoT devices, and operational monitoring systems.

• Ensure seamless integration between operational systems, sensors, and enterprise applications.

• Evaluate emerging technologies that improve operational visibility and efficiency.

Data & Digital Insights

• Support the development of data pipelines and analytics platforms to enable operational dashboards and performance monitoring.

• Partner with business teams to translate operational data into actionable insights.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Partner closely with business, operations, cybersecurity, and technology teams to align architecture with organisational goals.

• Lead solution reviews, evaluate technology vendors, and guide development teams on architecture standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field.

• Approximately 7-12 years of experience in software development, system architecture, or enterprise technology roles.

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise or cloud-based applications.

• Familiarity with system integration, APIs, and modern application frameworks.

• Exposure to logistics, supply chain systems, or operational platforms would be advantageous.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP) and container technologies is preferred.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving capabilities.
