Job Summary:
This position is responsible for hands-on on IT Infrastructure systems, like networking, virtualization, data center management and managing IT systems and IT operational activities including end users management. The IT senior manager will be responsible for day to day operations, planning, procurement, implementation, security, protocols, and management of Information Technology solutions in use by and the IT operational activities associated with them.
Performance Attributes:
Include but are not limited to the following:
1) Oversee the daily operations of the IT Operations department to ensure the functionality, availability, and security ofIT systems, data, backups, and communications troubleshoot and remediate issues that arise
2) Partner with Information Security team to implement and operationalize security controls
3) Develop and manage annual IT budgets and procure IT equipment and professional services in accordance with Procurement and Contracting Policy
4) Manage IT vendors, contracts and service level agreements and perform vendor risk assessments
5) Identify and manage operational risks
6) Manage information technology projects
7) Coordinate internal and external resources, timetables, budgets, and the reporting to project stakeholders
8) Develop department policies, process and procedures documentation and provide internal training to department and impacted end users
9) Ensure compliance of department and organizational polices
10) Certify business continuity and disaster recovery efforts of IT Systems
11) Participate in internal and external audits oversee and coordinate responses to audit requests
12) Manage department team members, including performance and training assessments. Assist in the development of IT staffing plan and professional growth
13) Align IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and strategic goals
14) Evaluate and assess strategic solutions that leverage new and emerging technologies that drive process automation and improve organization effectiveness and efficiencies
15) Manage IT department services and prepare management reports of department activities, tasks, and operational metrics
16) Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continued education, online/inperson training and attendance of educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, networking and participation in professional industry groups
Technical Experience:
1) Microsoft 365 Platform, including Azure, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive and Office Strong technical knowledge of network and server operating system
2) Experience with support of Windows Operating Systems, SQL Server and Active Directory
3) Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning, development, and operations
4) Powershell scripting
5) VmWare, Azure and AWS Server Virtualization
6) Enterprise Backup, Replication and Business Continuity and Disaster recover mitigation and response
7) Strong understanding of project management principles and practices
8) Strong understanding of Helpdesk and Customer Relations Support systems
9) Data Security and Cyber Security basics
10) Process Automation, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Machine Learning (ML) Artificial Intelligence basics
Qualifications:
The minimum qualifications required for entry into the classification are as follows:
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field OR
Ten years of relevant professional industry or military experience AND Previous IT Infrastructure, IT Management, or IT Business Operations experience.

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company's internal capacity
Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget
Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable departments
Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution
Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems
Work closely with legal and safety departments to ensure that activities remain compliant
Oversee materials and inventory
Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management
Required skills and qualifications
Two or more years of proven success in an operations management role
Strong skills in budget development and oversight
Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service
Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes
Knowledge of business productivity software and an aptitude for learning new applications
Strong IT skills, including database development
Multiple years of financial and account reporting experience
Ability to communicate in more than one language
