IT Security Officer

Job Description

We are seeking an experiencedSenior IT Security Officerto support the organisation's cybersecurity governance, risk management, security assurance and advisory initiatives. You will work closely with system owners, project teams, infrastructure and cloud teams, vendors and management to identify security risks and ensure systems meet applicable security standards and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity governance, risk assessment and security advisory across ICT systems and projects.
• Review application, cloud, infrastructure, network and identity architectures to identify security risks and control gaps.
• Oversee vulnerability management, security testing, remediation and risk treatment activities.
• Support security operations, incident response, cyber resilience and disaster recovery activities.
• Prepare security reports and advise technical teams, project managers, system owners and senior stakeholders on cybersecurity risks and controls.

Requirements

• Minimum7 years of relevant IT/cybersecurity experience, with strong exposure to governance, risk management, security assurance, architecture, cloud security or security operations.
• At least3 years of experience reviewing or governing enterprise-scale systems, major ICT projects or public-sector environments.
• Strong knowledge ofenterprise security architecture, cloud security, IAM, vulnerability management and security controls.
• Working knowledge ofISO 27001/27002, NIST, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK, OWASPand Singapore Government ICT&SS security requirements.
• Relevant degree and at least one recognised cybersecurity certification such asCISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, CCSP, CGEIT or GIAC, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
