IT Security Analyst
We are seeking a IT Security Analyst to protect critical digital systems by monitoring, detecting, and responding to threats across on-premises and cloud environments. This role ensures compliance, safeguards data, and enables secure, uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Operations & Monitoring: Detect and respond to threats using advanced tools enhance monitoring processes and automate alert handling.
- Incident Management: Act as point of contact for incidents triage, escalate, and track remediation conduct post-incident reviews to strengthen processes.
- Vulnerability & Risk Management: Perform regular vulnerability scans coordinate remediation with developers assess cybersecurity risks and update risk registers.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Collect and analyse security events provide actionable insights promote secure development practices and security awareness across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CompTIA Security+, CEH) and/or cloud security certifications (AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate).
- Hands-on experience with cloud/hybrid security, SIEM/EDR tools, vulnerability assessments, network/infrastructure security, and application security (OWASP Top 10).
- Strong knowledge of incident response, threat analysis frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK), and security best practices.
- Experience embedding security in SDLC, secure code reviews, and automated scanning tools is a plus.
